Case Notes
Four months after surgery, you're looking at the result of a breast augmentation performed on a 30-year-old female patient weighing 120 lbs. Because the two sides weren't the same volume going in, Dr. DeLuca-Pytell used different implant sizes: a 350cc Mentor silicone gel implant on the right and a 300cc on the left. Both are round, moderate plus profile. That size difference is a planning decision, not an oversight. Using matched implants on unmatched anatomy would produce an uneven outcome. The after photo, taken at the four-month mark, shows the settled position of both implants. Individual results vary. Image used with written patient consent.
