Case Notes
Six months after surgery, you're looking at the result of a breast augmentation performed on a 60-year-old female patient weighing 180 lbs. Mentor saline implants, round shape, moderate profile, placed through inframammary incisions on both sides. Because each breast has its own starting volume, the implants were filled to different amounts: the right was inflated to 400cc from a 350cc shell, and the left to 360cc from the same shell size. That fill difference is a standard way to work with the anatomy rather than against it. The after photo shows fuller upper-pole projection and a rounder breast contour across both sides at the six-month mark.
