This patient, a 29-year-old woman weighing 150 lbs, wanted a breast augmentation. The plan used Mentor Smooth Round Moderate Plus saline implants, with each shell placed at 450cc and then inflated to 540cc. Saline implants allow that kind of volume adjustment intraoperatively, which gives the surgeon a degree of control that a pre-filled implant doesn't offer. In the after photo, you can see the added upper-pole fullness and the rounder overall contour that the 540cc fill produced. The nipple position and breast footprint remain consistent with what you see in the before image.
