Case Notes
Seven months after surgery, you're looking at the result of a breast augmentation performed for a 40-year-old female patient weighing 160 lbs. Because her anatomy called for different volumes on each side, Mentor round silicone gel implants were placed at moderate plus profile with 400cc on the right and 350cc on the left. Using two different sizes to address pre-existing differences between sides is a common planning decision, not an unusual one. The after photo shows full, rounded upper-pole projection with the nipples sitting in a forward-facing position. At seven months out, the implants have had time to settle into their final position within the pocket.
