Case Notes
Six months after surgery, you're looking at a breast augmentation performed on a 50-year-old female patient weighing 136 lbs. Because the two sides weren't the same size going in, Dr. DeLuca-Pytell used different implant volumes on each side: a 325cc Mentor round high-profile silicone gel implant on the right and a 250cc implant on the left. Selecting two different sizes is a common approach when pre-existing volume differences between sides need to be accounted for in the surgical plan. The after photo shows the result at the six-month mark, when post-operative settling is well underway. Tap the heart ❤️ to keep this one on your shortlist for consultation.
