Case Notes
This patient, a 40-year-old woman weighing 130 lbs, wanted a breast augmentation after previously having her implants removed. Because prior implant removal can affect tissue support, Dr. DeLuca-Pytell incorporated an OviTex internal sling into the plan. That internal support structure helps hold the implant position over time. Mentor round saline implants, 275cc at moderate profile, were placed to achieve the volume the patient was looking for. You can see inframammary scars visible in the before photo, consistent with her prior surgery. The after photo is taken at three months post-op, showing the implants sitting in position with the tissue settled around them. Results vary from patient to patient.
