Case Notes
The patient, a 53-year-old female weighing 125 lbs, underwent breast augmentation using Mentor silicone gel implants. This lovely woman raised three children and always put everyone else first. She had desired an augmentation for a long time, then underwent a weight loss. She complained of looking saggy. The procedure involved a dual plane technique with round, moderate plus profile implants, placed submuscularly via an inframammary incision. Implant size was 325 cc. The post-operative images, taken three months after the surgery, demonstrate an increase in breast volume and projection. The inframammary incision is not visible in the after photo, indicating a well-healed surgical site. The overall breast contour appears fuller, aligning with the intended procedural goals. This case highlights the technical aspects of breast augmentation using specific implant characteristics and placement techniques.
