Case Notes
This is a tubular breast surgery case for a 30-year-old patient weighing 180 lbs. Tubular breast deformity requires more than straightforward augmentation; a tubular release is performed at the same time to address the constricted breast base before the implant is placed. Here, 415cc Sientra High Strength Cohesive Gel implants were selected, round shape with a high profile, to fill the expanded pocket after release. The after photo is taken at six months post-op and shows the breast mound sitting fuller across the lower pole compared to the before photo, where the constricted base is visible. If you're considering surgery for tubular breasts, this case gives you a realistic picture of what the six-month mark can look like.
