When I heard about Aveli I was skeptical. After one appt I was hopeful.  Her whole staff is phenomenal! The surgery went way better than expected and my results are amazing! It made me cry the first time I wore shorts. I’ve tried to get the perfect before and after pics but I can’t get one that does it enough justice. I recently underwent tummy tuck and breast augmentation with lift surgery, and I can confidently say that it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I found Dr. Deluca-Pytell online while looking into plastic surgeons and did my due diligence relative to researching her practice, techniques, etc. From start to finish, every aspect of my journey was handled with professionalism and care. This was my third breast augmentation therefore, I was well educated on how I'd feel (and look) afterward, however, Dr. Deluca-Pytell exceeded ALL my expectations & I do believe her to be not only a plastic surgeon but also an ARTIST. The initial phone consultation (with Andrea) was thorough and reassuring. She was so very kind and informative; I booked the in-person consultation that day. When initially meeting Dr. Deluca-Pytell, she took the time to understand my goals, answer all my questions, and explain the procedures in detail. I went in interested in a tummy tuck (knowing that my breast implants would need to be replaced in the near future, as it had been 18 years since the last one) and when Dr. Deluca-Pytell asked when I had had the last ultrasound on my breast implants, I didn't have an answer even though I was getting yearly mammograms. I was never told (by my last surgeon) to get yearly check-ups on my breast implants, which was concerning. Dr. Deluca-Pytell offered and performed an ultrasound right then and found a small rupture on my left side and large rupture on my right side. Talk about FATE stepping in.... I booked the surgery for both the tummy tuck and breast augmentation the following day and was in surgery three weeks later. On the day of the surgery, I was welcomed into a warm and professional environment. The surgical team was not only highly skilled but also incredibly supportive and kind, ensuring I was comfortable and calm before the procedure. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how manageable the recovery process turned out to be. Dr. Danielle Deluca-Pytell provided a clear plan for post-operative care, and I've appreciated the continuous support from both my surgeon and her amazing staff (Maya is wonderful TOO!), who were always available to address my concerns and monitor my progress. Sidenote: When visiting Dr. Deluca-Pytell's office, I noticed a monthly Botox club that she offered; on my second follow-up visit I joined this club & received Botox from her for the first time. Not only was her Botox plan less expensive, but she also did a better job than anyone I've used in the past (including the plastic surgeon I HAD BEEN seeing for YEARS) and I've been getting Botox for 18 years! In summary, my tummy tuck and breast augmentation with lift surgery has been a life-changing experience. The professionalism, support, and expertise I encountered throughout this journey have made it truly exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend these procedures to anyone considering it, as the benefits extend far beyond the physical, it's about embracing a new chapter in life with confidence and joy. To sum it up: I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Danielle Deluca-Pytell & her staff to anyone and everyone interested in any of the surgeries she offers. SHE IS AMAZING!

Thank you to Dr. DeLuca-Pytell not only for the incredible results with my upper blepharoplasty, but for answering my questions (before and after surgery) and for checking in on my recovery! Have recommended her to several friends!

For patients who have lost a significant amount of weight, excess skin may drape at the inner thigh, and in severe cases, down the leg towards the knee. A thigh lift in Troy is a body sculpting procedure that removes the excess skin to firm the appearance of the inner thigh.

How a Thigh Lift is Performed

Two types of thigh lift may be offered. The medial thigh lift places the scar in the crease of the groin and removes excess skin confined to the upper inner thigh. For skin that is loose and extends further down the leg, a vertical thigh lift may be performed. This also uses the scar in the groin crease, but also continues the scar down the inside of the leg towards the knee (think a hockey stick). A compression garment will need to be worn to help reduce swelling for about six weeks.

Upside

For a leg with significant excess skin, thigh lift helps restore the shape of the inner thigh. Patients report fitting better in pants, especially fitted ones. Patients report improved appearance with a slimmer, contoured leg.

Downside

The scar will be permanent, so for a vertical thigh lift, it will be visible if you wear shorts or short skirts. This is an operation with a difficult recovery period. The scar sits in the crease of the groin and can cause discomfort with walking and toileting. It is not uncommon to have a part of the skin separate and need additional time to heal. Swelling in the legs following surgery is not unusual, and many patients will require support stockings.

4 – 6 hours (depending on the extent of procedure).

General anesthesia, you will be asleep and monitored the entire time.

Thigh Lift Risks

All surgery carries risk. I recommend patients carefully weigh the benefits of having surgery against the potential risks which may arise. If you smoke, it is imperative that you quit six weeks both before and after surgery. Risks include pain, infection, bleeding, damage to skin, nerves, blood vessels, dissatisfaction with results, asymmetry, unsightly scars, blood clots in the legs which can travel to the lungs, and wound healing delays.
