Case Notes
This 60-year-old man lost more than 100 pounds and came in wanting to address the chest skin excess and male breast tissue that remained after that weight loss. The plan included gynecomastia reduction with extended skin excision and areolar transposition, which repositions the nipple-areola complex as part of the skin removal. His recovery wasn't without complexity: vascular congestion of the right nipple required additional wound care in the early postoperative weeks. He came through that without further complication. The after photo is taken at three months. You can see the chest contour with the excess tissue and skin removed, and the scars still maturing at this stage. Individual results vary.
