Case Notes
This is a gynecomastia case treated with reduction mammoplasty in a 24-year-old male weighing 190 lbs. The before photo shows visible breast tissue projection bilaterally, with fullness beneath each nipple-areolar complex. Reduction mammoplasty was performed to remove that excess glandular tissue. At three months post-op, the chest wall sits noticeably flatter, and the nipple-areolar complexes lie closer to the chest contour without the forward projection visible in the before photo. You can see the chest profile has changed considerably from the front view, which is the angle most patients want to assess first when reviewing gynecomastia results. Shown with the patient's written consent. Interested in plastic surgery options for men? Call (248) 885-8858 for more information.
