A facelift addresses laxity in the facial and neck tissues by repositioning and securing the underlying structural layers; fat grafting adds volume back to areas where it has been lost over time, using the patient's own fat. Combining the two in a single procedure means the lifting work and the volume restoration are planned together, rather than treating them as separate problems.
