The before photo shows very large, low-positioned breasts with the nipple-areola complexes sitting well below the breast mound. Breast reduction removes excess breast tissue and skin while repositioning the nipple-areola complex higher on the chest wall. The after photo, taken at the 13-month mark, shows the breasts sitting noticeably higher, with the nipple-areola complexes repositioned and the overall breast volume reduced.
