Case Notes
This is a breast reduction case performed on a 60-year-old female patient weighing 108 lbs. The before photo shows large, heavily ptotic breasts sitting well below the chest wall. Reduction surgery removed excess breast tissue and repositioned the nipple-areola complex higher on the chest. Six months after surgery, the breasts sit noticeably higher, with the nipple-areola complexes repositioned and the overall breast volume reduced to a size more in keeping with her slight frame. Scars are visible at six months and will continue to fade over time. Shown with the patient's written consent. Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell MD can talk you through whether this approach is right for your anatomy during your consultation.
