Case Notes
This 42-year-old patient came in reporting back and neck pain along with shoulder strap grooving that had developed after pregnancy. An anchor-technique breast reduction was performed, removing approximately 200 grams of tissue from each side. The anchor pattern involves three incision lines: around the areola, vertically down to the breast fold, and along the fold itself. You can see all three scar lines in the four-month after photo; at this stage of healing, that level of visibility is expected and the scars continue to mature over time. Breast position is higher on the chest wall, and the shoulder strap indentations are no longer present. Shown with the patient's written consent.
