Case Notes
This patient, a woman in her early thirties weighing 140 lbs, wanted more breast volume and the ability to fill out a bra and moved forward with a breast augmentation. Because she had pre-existing breast asymmetry, two different implant sizes were selected: a 175cc Mentor MemoryGel round silicone implant on the right and a 250cc on the left. Both are moderate plus profile, placed submuscularly through inframammary incisions. Using different sizes on each side is a straightforward way to account for volume differences that exist before surgery. The after photo is taken at six months post-op. Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell MD can walk you through whether this sizing approach fits your anatomy. Individual results vary. Shown with the patient's written consent.
