Case Notes
Three months after surgery, you're looking at the result of a breast augmentation performed on a 30-year-old patient weighing 140 lbs. The plan centered on 480cc Mentor MemoryGel silicone gel implants, a cohesive gel device known for its shape retention. At that volume, the implants produce a full, rounded contour visible clearly in the after photo. The after image shows substantial upper-pole fill and forward projection compared to the starting point seen in the before photo. Implant selection at this size requires accounting for the patient's existing chest width and tissue coverage, both of which factor into whether a given volume sits well long term. The after photo is taken at the three-month mark.
