Case Notes
Two months after abdominoplasty with diastasis repair, you're looking at what the abdominal wall can look like once the underlying muscle separation is addressed and the excess skin is removed. This patient was 40 years old and weighed 140 lbs at the time of surgery. The procedure involved repairing the rectus abdominis muscles, which had separated, then removing redundant abdominal skin and repositioning the navel. The low horizontal incision is visible in the after photo, still in early healing at this two-month mark. Scar maturation continues well beyond that point. What you see here is a front-view comparison that lets you assess the abdominal contour at this stage of recovery. Shown with the patient's written consent. Contact us to schedule a consultation.
