Case Notes
This patient is a 50-year-old mother of three who wanted to address large, ptotic breasts and abdominal laxity that hadn't responded to exercise. Both procedures were performed during a single operating session. Dr. DeLuca-Pytell used a short-scar breast reduction technique to reduce breast volume and reposition the nipple-areolar complex, visible in the after photo with scars still maturing at five months. The abdominoplasty addressed the loose abdominal skin and underlying tissue, and the low horizontal scar is visible across the lower abdomen in the after image. Combining the two procedures meant one recovery period rather than two. The after photo is taken at five months post-op, when healing is well underway but scars continue to fade.
