Thirteen months after surgery, you can see the result of a combined procedure performed on this 40-year-old patient weighing 140 lbs. Liposuction was applied to both the inner and outer thighs to reduce localized fat volume in those areas. A belt lipectomy was also performed to address skin laxity around the midsection, and the horizontal scar from that procedure is visible across the lower abdomen in the after photo. The thighs show a visible reduction in overall circumference compared to the before image. When two procedures are planned together, the recovery and staging need to account for both.
