Case Notes
This is an inverted nipple repair for a 19-year-old female patient. Both nipples were retracted inward before surgery, as you can see in the before photo. The procedure addressed the retraction on both sides, releasing the tethering ducts that held the nipples below the surface of the areola. Four months after surgery, the after photo shows both nipples sitting outward and visible at the areolar surface. The areolae themselves appear well-healed at this point in recovery. If you're considering this procedure, this case gives you a realistic picture of what the four-month mark can look like. Individual results vary. Shown with the patient's written consent.
