Case Notes
This is a facelift case performed on a patient in her early fifties using a SMAS flap technique. The SMAS, the layer of muscle and connective tissue beneath the skin, was repositioned as part of the procedure; working at that deeper level allows the overlying skin to be moved without relying on tension at the surface alone. The after photo is taken at eight months post-op, when swelling has fully resolved and the tissues have settled into their final position. You can see the jawline and lower face appear firmer and more defined compared to the before photo. Shown with the patient's written consent. Individual results vary.
