Case Notes
This patient, a 49-year-old woman weighing 165 lbs, had a Fleur-de-Lis abdominoplasty combined with a bilateral breast reduction in a single mommy makeover procedure. The Fleur-de-Lis technique addresses both horizontal and vertical excess abdominal skin, making it a planning choice for patients with significant laxity in both directions. The breast reduction removed excess tissue from both sides, repositioning the nipple-areola complex higher on the chest wall. You can see the after photo was taken 13 months post-op, when swelling has fully resolved and scars have had time to mature. The low horizontal scar from the abdominoplasty is visible along the lower abdomen. Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell MD can walk you through whether this combination approach fits your anatomy and goals.
