Case Notes
This is a bilateral breast reduction performed on a 45-year-old woman weighing 142 lbs. The after photo is taken seven months post-op, and you can see the nipple-areola complexes have been repositioned higher on the chest wall, with a visible reduction in overall breast volume compared to the before image. Scars are present around the areolae and extending downward, consistent with a standard reduction pattern. At seven months, the tissue has had time to settle and the scars are still maturing. What you see here is a realistic picture of where healing typically stands at that point, not a final scar outcome. Individual results vary.
