Case Notes
This is a breast reduction case performed on a 40-year-old woman weighing 140 lbs. The before photo shows significantly large, heavy breasts with the nipple-areola complexes positioned low on the breast mound. Breast reduction removes excess breast tissue, skin, and fat while repositioning the nipple-areola complex higher on the chest wall. The after photo, taken two months post-op, shows the breasts sitting noticeably smaller and higher, with the nipple-areola complexes repositioned and the overall breast mound reduced in size. Incision lines are visible at this stage, which is expected; scars continue to fade well beyond the two-month mark. Results vary from patient to patient.
