Breast Reduction #29856

This is a breast reduction case performed on a 19-year-old patient weighing 150 lbs. The before photo shows significantly large, heavy breasts with marked ptosis and downward-pointing nipple-areola complexes. Breast reduction surgery removed excess breast tissue and skin, repositioned the nipple-areola complexes to a higher location on the chest wall, and reduced overall breast volume. The after photo, taken at 28 months post-op, shows the breasts sitting higher on the chest with the nipple-areola complexes facing forward. Scarring is visible around the areolae and along the lower pole, which is expected with this procedure and continues to fade over time. Results vary from patient to patient.
