Case Notes
Four months after surgery, you can see the outcome of two procedures performed together on this 50-year-old patient weighing 160 lbs. The breast portion combined a mastopexy with bilateral augmentation using Mentor round silicone gel implants, 425cc, high profile, placed submuscularly. Repositioning the nipple-areola complex was part of the lift planning. For the abdomen, a 360 abdominoplasty addressed excess skin circumferentially, not just at the front. The after photo shows the low horizontal scar from the abdominoplasty and the mastopexy scars at the four-month mark, while scars continue to mature beyond that point. Combining procedures in a single surgery is one option worth discussing during a consultation. Individual results vary.
