This is an abdominoplasty case for a 60-year-old female patient weighing 140 lbs. The procedure addressed excess abdominal skin and tissue, and the after photo is taken at two months post-op. You can see the low horizontal scar sitting below the tattoo line, which means the existing abdominal tattoos were largely preserved in their upper placement. The umbilicus has been repositioned as part of the standard abdominoplasty technique. At two months out, the incision is still in its early healing phase, so the scar line you see here will continue to fade over the coming months. Individual results vary.
