Case Notes
This is an abdominoplasty case performed on a 40-year-old female patient weighing 160 lbs. The before photo shows loose, lax abdominal skin with visible wrinkling across the lower and mid-abdomen. Abdominoplasty addresses excess abdominal skin and the underlying muscle wall, removing redundant tissue and tightening the rectus muscles where separation is present. The after photo is taken at 19 months post-op, and you can see the abdomen is considerably flatter, with the skin lying smoothly across the midsection and the navel repositioned to sit cleanly in the abdominal wall. The low horizontal scar sits within the bikini line. Results vary from patient to patient.
