Case Notes
This is an abdominoplasty case for a 40-year-old woman weighing 150 lbs. The before photo shows significant skin laxity and stretch marks across the abdominal wall. Abdominoplasty was performed to remove excess abdominal skin and tighten the underlying tissue. You can see in the after photo, taken two months post-op, that the low horizontal scar sits below the bikini line, the navel has been repositioned, and the stretch-marked skin above the pubic area has been excised. Residual swelling is still present at this stage, which is expected at the two-month mark. The scar will continue to fade over the coming months as healing progresses.
