This is an abdominoplasty case for a 30-year-old female patient weighing 180 lbs. The before photo shows significant loose, redundant abdominal skin with visible stretch marks across the entire abdominal wall. Abdominoplasty was performed to remove that excess skin and tighten the abdominal wall. Seven months after surgery, the after photo shows a noticeably flatter abdominal contour, with the redundant skin removed and the stretch marks that were located on the lower abdomen excised along with it. Some residual stretch marks remain on the upper abdomen, which is expected with this procedure. The navel has been repositioned and sits centrally in the after photo.
