The team at Dr. Danielle DeLuca-Pytell is excited to announce that our head has joined the grassroots organization, Physicians for Patient Protection. As Dr. DeLuca-Pytell’s goal in creating her practice is to offer high-quality plastic surgery in a comfortable and relaxed environment, the Physicians for Patient Protection organization honors her desire to ensure all patients are treated appropriately. Learn more about our partnership with the organization below:
The organization is composed of hundreds of practicing and retired physicians as well as medical students, residents, and assistant physicians interested in ensuring physician-pioneered care for all patients as well as advocating for absolute truth and transparency regarding healthcare practitioners. The members of Physicians for Patient Protection practice this mission through continuous education of their colleagues, policymakers, patients, and the overall public.
A big means of advocacy for Physicians for Patient Protection is ensuring that graduate medical education (GME) is funded appropriately, as the United States Congress continuously considers cuts to various GME programs. As current laws put caps on the number of federally funded resident training positions, this lack of funding limits training for physicians, which stifles access to healthcare.
