This 53-year-old patient, weighing 149 lbs, underwent a mommy makeover combining breast implant revision and abdominoplasty in a single surgical plan. On the breast side, the existing implants were removed and replaced, capsulorrhaphy was performed to address the implant pocket, and a bilateral reduction mastopexy repositioned and resized the breast tissue. Combining implant exchange with a lift and reduction in one procedure requires precise sequencing, since the pocket repair and the mastopexy pattern have to work together. The abdominoplasty addressed the abdominal wall and overlying skin. In the after photo, you can see the repositioned nipple-areola complexes and a flatter abdominal contour compared to before.
