Case Notes
This 30-year-old patient had wanted a breast lift since losing 50 pounds in high school. A mastopexy was performed using a superomedial pedicle technique with a Wise scar pattern, which produces the anchor-shaped incision you can see maturing in the after photo. She started at a C cup and moved to a B cup as part of the planned outcome. At 11 months post-op, the nipple position is elevated and the periareolar and vertical scars are continuing to fade. If you're considering a lift after significant weight loss, this case gives you a realistic picture of what the scar pattern looks like at nearly a year out. Shown with the patient's written consent.
