Case Notes
This is an abdominoplasty case performed on a 50-year-old female patient weighing 120 lbs. The before photo shows loose, crepey skin across the lower abdomen along with visible skin laxity and wrinkling below the navel. Abdominoplasty addresses excess abdominal skin by excising it through a low horizontal incision, repositioning the navel, and tightening the underlying abdominal wall musculature where indicated. In the after photo, the abdomen appears flat and smooth, the navel has been reconstructed and sits centrally, and the low horizontal scar is visible just above the bikini line. You can see that the remaining stretch marks below the original navel position were removed as part of the skin excision. Results vary from patient to patient. Contact us to schedule a consultation!
