This is an abdominoplasty case performed on a 37-year-old woman weighing 134 lbs. The before photo shows loose skin and tissue laxity across the lower and mid-abdomen. Abdominoplasty addresses excess abdominal skin and, where indicated, the underlying muscle wall. The after photo, taken five months post-op, shows a noticeably flatter abdominal contour. The umbilicus has been repositioned and sits centrally on the abdomen. Swelling at this stage is largely resolved, giving you a reliable picture of where the result is heading.
