Case Notes
Seven months out from abdominoplasty, you're looking at the front-view result for a 38-year-old woman. The procedure addressed excess abdominal skin and lax tissue; the umbilicus was repositioned as part of the repair. In the after photo, the abdominal wall sits flat, the waistline is visibly narrower, and the navel reads as centrally placed. The low horizontal incision falls within the bikini line, which you can see from the after image. At this stage, healing is well along. Some skin tone variation remains in the lower abdomen and continues to fade over time. Shown with the patient's written consent.
