Three months after abdominoplasty, this is what the abdomen looks like for a 51-year-old woman weighing 138 lbs. Surgery removed the loose, redundant skin and pronounced skin folds visible across the mid and lower abdomen in the before photo. The abdominal wall was also addressed during the procedure. In the after photo, the abdomen sits flat, the navel has been repositioned and sits centrally, and a low horizontal scar runs along the bikini line. That scar is still maturing at this point and will continue to fade, so what you're seeing here is not the final scar outcome.
