Case Notes
Seventeen months after a 360 abdominoplasty, you're looking at a 45-year-old patient, 171 lbs, whose after photo shows a noticeably flatter abdominal wall and a low horizontal scar sitting at the bikini line. The 360 approach addresses the abdomen and the flanks in a single procedure, so tissue and skin laxity at the front and sides are treated together rather than in stages. You can see in the after image that the waistline from the front view is visibly narrower through the flank area compared to the before. The navel has been repositioned as part of the procedure, which is standard with a full abdominoplasty. The 17-month timeframe means the scar and surrounding tissue have had substantial time to mature.
